We operate to the highest standards in the industry. As both a public and private cord blood bank, we have released more stem cells for transplant, clinical trials, and research than any private cord blood bank¹. Knowing how important each unit is for the outcome of patients and the future of medicine, we take our obligations for Quality Control seriously.
Cord For Life uses the same superior methodology to ensure the safety, purity and potency of every cord blood collection. All of our procedures, from collection to cryopreservation, are approved and regulated by both the FDA and the AABB.
We also follow the Standards established by the National Marrow Donor Program® and are licensed in the states of New York, California, New Jersey and Maryland. Cord For Life is approved for cord blood collections in the states of Delaware and Illinois.
These regulatory agencies routinely monitor and inspect our facility to verify that we are meeting and exceeding these regulatory requirements.
