Be The Match

The National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP) works to ensure there is a publicly available inventory of stem cells for the treatment of  leukemia, lymphoma, sickle cell anemia and other life-threatening diseases.  Overall, the NMDP has over  295,000 cord blood units listed on their Be The Match Registry®.

More than 25,000 patients around the world have received cord blood  transplants because parents have generously decided to donate their newborn’s umbilical cord blood to a public cord blood bank.

Our primary laboratory partner, Cord For Life, Inc., is a participating member of the NMDP network and together is working to build a genetically diverse nationwide inventory of cord blood units for transplant. Cord For Life, Inc. currently stores over 3,000 public cord blood units available for transplant.

Donate Cord Blood

By donating your newborn’s cord blood, you are joining a nationwide effort to create a genetically diverse inventory of stem cells for transplant to a child.
